PPEC Requirements

Now that we are in contact it is time to schedule your tour! Set a date/time and come by our convenient location in Miami, off the Palmetto, and steps away from the future home of the Jackson West Hospital. We want to make sure that SOL Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facilities and staff meet and exceed your expectations and requirements and PPEC Eligibility. During this tour we take the time to introduce our friendly and knowledgeable staff and give you the opportunity to ask any question you have. We will walk through our entirely renovated facility to experience the fresh air from a brand new air conditioning and ventilation system, vibrant modern open floor format styling and a beautiful mural from our friends at Chalk & Brush.

Next we make sure to guide our guests through the completion of our intake evaluation form and PPEC requirements for. This form presents our staff with all the necessary information to make sure we contact the appropriate parties to confirm eligibility and work towards scheduling your start date.

Requirements to qualify for PPEC services in SOLPPEC Miami children must be in the age range, birth through 20 years of age, and have medically complex conditions. If prescribed by a pediatrician, said children may attend SOLPPEC Miami up to 12 hours daily while receiving nursing services, pediatric care, personal care, developmental therapies, and caregiver training.

While discussing PPEC requirements we can verify your financial responsibility, if any, to attend SOLPPEC Miami. PPEC services are covered under the Florida Medicaid program and eligible children are fully covered for prescribed pediatric extended care services. For those not Medicaid eligible, SOLPPEC Miami works with most private insurances to handle all the necessary paperwork to reduce as much financial burden as possible.
